MORE ACCESSIBLE FOR EVERYONE
MSPF will begin fundraising for the purchase of an Action Trackchair, an off road, motorized wheelchair for Lone Pine State Park.
Lone Pine boasts one of the best trail systems in the state park system. Adding a trackchair that can be reserved and used by visitors will open the trail system to a group of visitors that have historically been excluded due to physical limitations.
If this project proves to be a success, additional track chairs should be acquired for other state parks including Makoshika, Lake Elmo, Spring Meadow Lake, Frenchtown, and others.
